The phrase “Panta rhei” (Greek: πάντα ῥεῖ) carries significant philosophical weight and is often associated with the ancient philosopher Heraclitus, a figure from the pre-Socratic era. It translates to ‘everything flows’ and encapsulates a fundamental concept in Heraclitus’s philosophy. It’s worth noting that Heraclitus’s philosophical ideas have reached us primarily through quotations, paraphrases, references, and accounts provided by later authors. “Panta rhei” is among the most renowned of these concepts. While Plato is one of the earliest known sources to mention it, there is some scholarly debate regarding its authenticity, as suggested on Wikipedia.
From my perspective, the essence of this phrase served as the inspiration for the design of a double-rotating circle. The inclusion of a square frame in this design symbolizes the constant inward and outward movement, mirroring the dynamic nature of the real estate market, which has experienced unpredictable fluctuations over the years.
